It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this announcement today. After much contemplation and soul-searching, the MineGlobe management team has made the difficult decision to shut down the Earth realm. We understand that this news may come as a surprise, and we want to take this opportunity to explain our reasons and reassure you about the future.

The Journey So Far
Five months ago, we embarked on an exciting adventure with the release of the Earth realm. We were thrilled to see an incredible influx of players, both familiar faces and newcomers, all eager to explore this unique Minecraft experience. The Earth realm was created with passion and dedication, aiming to provide a fresh and captivating gameplay experience.

Challenges Faced
However, as time passed, it became apparent that player retention was not as strong as we had hoped for. Despite our best efforts to introduce new features and address any bugs that cropped up, the Earth realm struggled to maintain a consistent player base. Currently, it is averaging only 1-2 players per day, a far cry from our initial expectations.

A Tough Decision
The decision to close down the Earth realm was not made lightly. We weighed our options and considered various ways to revitalize the realm, but ultimately, we believe it is the right time to bring this chapter to a close. We are grateful for the support and enthusiasm you showed for Earth during its existence.

What Comes Next?
As we bid farewell to Earth, we are turning our focus towards enhancing the experience on other MineGlobe realms. We will be concentrating our efforts on Survival, Heroes, and Gens. Additionally, we are excited to announce that MineGlobe and Maritime are merging, promising even more exciting opportunities for our community.

During this transition, we want to ensure that you are not left in the lurch. If you hold an Earth rank, you will have the option to transfer it to Gens or Heroes. Please create a ticket in #📩┊tickets, and our dedicated Admins will guide you through the process.

The Future of MineGlobe and Maritime
The merger of MineGlobe and Maritime is an exciting development that will offer you more choices and adventures. Once the integration is complete, you will have access to five servers:

1. Gens (play.mineglobe.org)
2. Heroes (play.mineglobe.org)
3. Survival (play.mineglobe.org)
4. Maritime Survival (play.maritimemc.net)
5. Lifesteal (play.maritimemc.net)

Please note that the merger into one hub will take some time, so in the meantime, you will need to connect to the servers separately to enjoy your gameplay.

We understand that change can be difficult, but we firmly believe that this decision will pave the way for a brighter and more engaging future for the MineGlobe community. Your ranks will not be lost, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition.
